The lovely British native foxglove which is in fact a biennial, it will self seed so you will continue you have a succession of plants. Tall and purple with darker spots inside the flowers. This foxglove is highly attractive to bees. Plant in sun or partial shade in soil that doesn't dry out too much in summer. Flowering time is early summer. As with all Digitalis TOXIC IF EATEN.
