The Benton Iris classic!
Velvet burgundy falls with paler purple-brown standards and flashes of gold around the canary- gold beards. Beautiful,
unusual colour in a plant really, almost like its been mixed on an artist's palette.
Plant Iris in full sun and a well drained soil, face the rhizomes south and plant just above the soil surface.
Lift and divide the Iris clump every 4 years. Give a spring feed with a balanced fertiliser, we use Loo's Poo alpaca fertiliser.
