Iris 'Kent Pride' is THE Chelsea Flower Show Iris, its been around a very long time now but is still so popular, every year it makes
such an impact in so many show gardens, it always flowers bang on time. It has a rather more 'natural' look than so many of the other
showy bearded Irises, it could almost be a Benton Iris. Kent Pride has rich chestnut flowers with a contrasting yellow-white splash on
the falls. A good bloomer and lots of flowers per stem.
Plant Iris in full sun and a well drained soil, face the rhizomes south and plant just above the soil surface.
Lift and divide the Iris clump every 4 years. Give a spring feed with a balanced fertiliser, we use Loo's Poo alpaca fertiliser.
