Olive Trees
The olive tree (Olea Europaea) is one of the oldest cultivated trees in history. Typically seen as a symbol of peace and wisdom, olive trees are native to the Mediterranean but grow successfully in the UK. They have beautiful silvery-grey, evergreen foliage and can grow very happily in the ground or look equally fabulous in pots. Occasionally, some people are very suprised to learn that olive trees are tough plants and are actually quite cold tolerant. Think of Tuscany, its often under a blanket of snow in winter!
With a wide range of olive trees for sale and available to buy online, we pride ourselves on being one of the leading plant nurseries in the UK for olive trees, hand-sourcing these Mediterranean plants directly from the mountainous regions of Valencia. This attention and care has resulted in multiple RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) medals for our designed gardens featuring olive trees, including The Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court Palace and even featured on BBC Gardner's World. Our 2014 'Best in Show' Award winning display at Hampton Court centred upon a beautiful ancient olive tree. Please click here to see the size of Olive Tree (Olea europea) we used. We can deliver all of our ancient olive trees either by pallet or on our own vehicles (by arrangement). To see a range of our smaller sizes of Olive trees please see the categories below.
