Salvia 'Cherry Lips'

Salvia 'Cherry Lips' is the sister of S. 'Hot Lips', this pretty herbaceous perennial will flower all summer and well into the autumn. Saliva is highly attractive to bees and butterflies and if lightly brushed, the foliage releases a gorgeous blackcurrant scent. This lovely plant will fill a summer pot and bring those flowers and pollinators on to the patio. They can of course be planted into the border where they look fabulous with other perennials, such as Dahlia, Kniphofia and Crocosmia. Plant in a well drained soil in part sun/shade. Lightly trim in summer to promote more flowering and help keep the growth in check.
