Crocosmia Emily McKenzie is a beautiful monbretia, very eye catching with freesia-like flowers of orange and crimson. Crocosmia are bulbous perennials which will multiply easily over time and from a large clump. They can be dug up and split very easily and dotted around the garden or planted into containers. Let the leaves die down naturally and clear away in late winter/early spring as the new foliage is about to emerge. Plant crocosmia in a free draining soil preferably with good sunlight, if they are in too much shade they tend to produce lots of foliage but not flowers. Height 60cm.
