Daucus carota 'Dara'

A gorgeous hardy annual, Daucus carota 'Dara' is a lovely cultivar of the wild carrot. Beautiful lacy, umbelliferous flowers of varying shades of dark red though to creamy white on very long, elegant stems of up to a metre tall. The lacy foliage is very pretty too. Its a such a beautiful addition to the summer border, adding an airy texture to float amongst other herbaceous colours. Daucus is an amazing pollinator and will self seed. Plant in a well drained and sunny position.
