Cordyline australis 'Peko'

This palm-like plant is really quite unusual but should be a striking staple of any exotic planting scheme. Broad strap like leaves have attractive red stripes to the underside. Scented flowers are followed by berries in hot summers. Prefers full sun or a little shade and lots of food for best leaf colour. Very tolerant of coastal conditions - wind, salt etc. Well drained soil. Will require winter protection in all but the mildest parts of the UK, and will not tolerate being waterlogged.

Supplied in an 18 ltr pot.
