'Benton Daphne' is a pretty shade of mauve-pink with delicate plicata markings to the cream falls. A golden yellow beard. Named by Cedric Morris for Daphne Bousfield, who was a student at Benton End in 1939.
Plant iris in full sun and a well drained soil. Face the rhizomes south and plant so the rhizome is on the soil surface and can be baked in the sun. Aim to lift and divide iris every four years, to keep them flowering strongly.
