Iris 'Sable' is one fo the best selling Iris here at Todd's Botanics. It is a very beautiful and reliably strong bloomer. It is one of the first Iris to flower in May. It's a real favourite of ours with rich deep purple falls and slightly paler standard petals with a blue beard to contrast. A sweetly scented iris. Height 85cm.
Plant Iris in full sun and a well drained soil, face the rhizomes south and plant just above the soil surface.
Lift and divide the Iris clump every 4 years. Give a spring feed with a balanced fertiliser, we use Loo's Poo alpaca fertiliser.
