Deschampsia cespitosa 'Schottland' is another beautiful cultivar of Deschampsia, very similar to 'Goldtau' initially, but the silky flower tassels are a little darker and they grow a little taller. As with 'Goldtau' its hard to put into words how lovely these Descampsia are, 'Schottland' has a neat form and doesn't get too big and it has fine dark green arching foliage, but its the flowers that are really pretty, so airy and light, they are held way above slender, strong stems. To see the sunlight through these flowers is a beautiful sight.
