Dryopteris erythrosora AGM

Dryopteris erythrosora is a beautiful semi-deciduous or evergreen fern, its new, copper coloured foliage unfurls in spring and gradually matures into lush dark green foliage. Its evergreen status all depends on the temperature, the more mild it is the more evergreen it is.

The Japanese Shield Fern likes a hummus rich, not too dry soil in a semi-shaded position. Ferns love, and look great in woodland type setting or shady spot. 

Eventual height 60cm and spread 40cm.
