Miscanthus sinensis 'Morning Light' is a beautiful, compact ornamental grass, a cultivar of 'Gracillimus'. Morning light has upright, fine green and cream foliage which shimmers and sways and creates a delicate softness and gentle movement in the garden. It is a firm favourite of ours and looks beautiful with other green and white plants to give a cooling effect.
Plant in a sunny, open position in a well drained soil that is not too dry. Cut the faded foliage down to the ground in early spring, the new fresh, green shoots soon appear.
