A lovely clump forming grass with an upright habit, gracefully fine leaves which take on beautiful reds shades in autumn. The flowers are delicate and airy, tinged with purple. Panicum is an easy grass to grow, it is suitable for most ordinary soils, not too dry and will have great colour if planted in full sun. Cut down to the ground in Feb-March and watch it sprout new fresh foliage in Spring. Plant with wonderful summer herbaceous flowers such as Verbena bonariensis, Rudbeckia, Helenium and Dahlia. Gorgeous!
