A lovely neat perennial grass with a compact habit. Hameln has beautiful soft-pinkish, bottle-brush flowers that dance above the slender stems. Pennisetum Hameln is an ornamental grass that would look great if planted other herbaceous perennials, especially Dahlia, they compliment each other greatly. Cut back to the base in late winter and grow in a sheltered spot in full sun. Also suitable for pots.
