Stipa ichu

Tall, slender and soft with silky feather-like flowers in late summer. A lovely, elegant ornamental grass that you just have to run your hands over. Stipa ichu loves a sunny spot and a well drained soil. Very compact in width and looks really good among colourful herbaceous perennials for a great contrast. A semi-evergreen grass so just comb through thoroughly in spring to remove all the old foliage.
