Chamaerops humilis 'Vulcano'

'Vulcano' is a beautiful form of Chamaerops humilis, it is slighlty more compact and a little more slower growing, making this an ideal architectural palm tree for many landscaping and garden design projects. Vulcano has a lovely silvery bloom on the undersides of the leaves which are visible as the palm leaves tend to grow upright in a compact, bushy fashion. As with Chamaerops humilis, it is very tolerant of wind and coastal positions and loves the sun, the silvery bloom will be more visible with maximum sunshine. A lovley palm tree.

  Chamaerops like a well-drained moderately fertile soil, however it will also tolerate a poor soil. An open sunny situation is ideal, it does not mind a windy situation.
