Very pretty clear blue-lilac Iris with heavily speckled white falls and standards, giving the Iris a shimmery look. Great Iris for good size blooms and long flowering, 'Blue Shimmer' has a wonderful scent. Will grow to approximately 90cm. A very popular Iris that looks wonderful with orange Geum 'Princes Juliana'.
Plant Iris in full sun and a well drained soil, face the rhizomes south and plant just above the soil surface.Lift and divide the Iris clump every 4 years. Give a spring feed with a balanced fertiliser, we use Loo's Poo alpaca fertiliser.
